1.  An electronic manual in the form of a help file replaces a paper manual.

 

2.  GeneHunter is entirely a 32-bit program.  The 16-bit portions of the program have been removed.

 

3.  GeneHunter is distributed on a CD-ROM rather than on diskettes.

 

4.  You are no longer required to substitute your GeneHunter serial number for the default serial number of 1000 when calling the MakePopulation function.  (Use of the MakePopulation function is described in Chapter 6 - Programming Your Genetic Algorithm Using the DLL of the help file.)  This change was made in order to facilitate high volume distribution of the program on CD-ROM.
